Christmas 2026: The countdown begins!
We are so pleased to announce the launch of this year’s project in Bournemouth. This will be possible thanks to a collaboration between Lovechurch, Bournemouth Foodbank and the Hamper Appeal.
This is the nineth year the project has run, but the first time we are back after a little break. We stepped back into a supporting role last year and cheered on both the Foodbank and Love Your Neighbour as they carried on helping families celebrate together. Now we are back with a new host: Lovechurch!
Lovechurch meets at the St Swithun’s site in Bournemouth and will be providing a home for this year’s event which runs from Monday 21st till Wednesday 23rd December.
If you represent a church, a business, a statutory agency or any other local group, we would love to partner with you. You can nominate families, collect food, recruit volunteers or raise funds.

“Our experience with the Hamper Appeal has been really positive. It is a straight forward process and is really helpful for the parents and families that we have that are struggling to make ends meet at Christmas time. All in all we are very thankful to the Hamper Appeal for all the support and care for families in our community. We feel that the service is brilliant!”
